You might remember this hot couple from their Crossfit themed engagement session we posted last year. Well… they are back, and this time in full wedding attire. And… shocker! It was impossible for us to narrow them down. Yeahhhhhh… there is definitely over 100 images in this post, but we didn’t have the heart to cut them back since they tell such a great story. So let’s get down to the details.
It was a beautiful Saturday in June, the morning rain had cleared and mother nature gave these two a free pass (and to us when the amazing cloud patterns rolled through in the evening). After getting ready, everyone headed to the First Congregational Church on the Branford green. It was a short ceremony, and that was a good thing because it was HOT! Courtney and Kurt were so adorable on the alter, all smiles and giggles with happiness. After the ceremony we were pretty excited to walk next door and make use of the Branford Town Hall. Although they were setting up for a concert, we managed to sneak in for a few minutes to grab some formals. Are these two photogenic or what?!
When we got to Amarantes, the skies were spectacular. Talk about heaven (for us). Blasting a little light really brought out the drama! While Michael wrapped up the bridal party and family shots, Marcie ran inside to capture all the details Courtney and Kurt worked so hard on. We wish we could show all of them in this post, but then we would be up to around 200 photos. From the kettlebell cake that Sugar made (talk about creative!), to the videos Kurt and Courtney made for the introductions, we were overwhelmed! And we’re not going to lie, (Marcie actually said this to one of the owners)… it was the best dinner we have EVER had at a wedding reception. It was like a piece of art! Marcie is still ranting and raving since she is such a foodie. And how could we possibly forget the Dipping Dots cart? And the candy bar, and the kettlebell ice sculpture! We could go on and on!
Once dinner was finished the dance floor filled in and people danced all night long. Everyone was having a blast. And of course… Our “Worth 1000 Words” Photo Booth was set up outside on the deck. There were times when we thought the line was going to go off the deck. What a fun party!! Congratulations Courtney and Kurt! We hope you love your photos!
