Last month our good friend Lisa contacted us about getting some newborn photos taken of her and her husband Jeff’s new addition, Evan. Lisa and Jeff had a few ideas in mind to change it up a bit, and of course I was excited to try something new and creative! The first set we attempted to get Evan asleep in a vintage suitcase…in a fedora and tie, yes hand knitted by Mad Hatter Knits on Etsy. Love the creativity! Evan’s Dad Jeff being into Apple products and cameras (just like ourselves) and sporting some stylish glasses, wanted to somehow incorporate these items into a shoot. Once Lisa told me they had tried this at home, I gathered instead what I had laying around…vintage cameras, a book, and some old sunglasses which I popped the lenses out of, and put together a little studio set. Lisa and I worked very hard to get Evan in position on the hard book (we may have been sweating) but once we got it, it was so well worth it! He looked so adorable I couldn’t even handle it! Congratulations Lisa and Jeff, enjoy every second!
