We know that we have said it before, but writing wedding posts is becoming a real challenge for us. While each wedding is very unique… we feel like we constantly repeat ourselves by writing how awesome the couple is and how much fun we had – but, it’s the truth. We are truly blessed to work with so many amazing people who are not only gracious, but also make us feel like we are a part of the event. And this wedding was no exception. We will never forget the fun we had with Heather and David at the reception. The music was blasting, the drinks were flowing, the photo booth was running non-stop, and everyone was having a blast! We both paid for it the next morning, but it was worth it. Period!

Before we get ahead of ourselves… let’s take a step back and begin with the ceremony. Once this lovely couple was dressed to impress, we headed to St Anthony’s Church in New Haven (which is absolutely gorgeous by the way). We are still amazed by the architecture and details inside. Stunning! After the ceremony, the bridal party jumped into their stretch white Hummer and headed to Woodwinds for the formals. The lighting on that Friday evening was perfect and made the colors appear so vibrant against the greens.

We love Woodwinds. Aside from the fact that we had our reception there, Scott (the coordinator) is one of the best in the business. He is 100% on point and organized at every wedding – not to mention a blast to hang out with! Moving on to the reception… where do we begin? Some of the highlights were when David danced with his mom to Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child O’ Mine” (you all know how much we love GNR). Then there was Heather who dragged her grandmother out on the dance floor in a wheel chair – talk about hysterical!! And then there was the time when David pulled us to the bar for a round of lemon drop shots and his sister stole one of our cameras to capture the moment (thank God it was the end of the night). We have so many memories, we could go on and on. That’s enough from us, let’s get to the photos. Congratulations Heather & David! Obviously we had a blast. You know who to call when you are ready for the next round. :-)
