The first time we met Christine and her family was during her “White Carpet” appointment at the White Dress by the Shore. We absolutely love “White Carpet” appointments. They are luxurious, intimate, and provide memories that will last a lifetime. We will never forget when everyone in the room knew that Christine found her perfect dress. From the tears to the cheers… it was magical (and all caught on camera). At one point, I remember blurting out… “that dress is a photographer’s dream” – which it was.
When Christine and her mom Tina reached out after the appointment to book, we were ecstatic!
But what about the groom?! It wasn’t until a few weeks after the “White Carpet” appointment that we met Mike. And then… for us… the picture was complete. These two are a perfect pair. From their super laid back demeanor to their happy go lucky perspectives… they compliment each other in every way.
Like most wedding posts, we could write a novel about the details surrounding the day… but we know that most of you are here for the photos so we will stick to the highlights. The day started at Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Litchfield, CT followed by a stunning reception at the Farmview Country Club in Harwington, CT. Upon our arrival at the reception site, we had the pleasure of meeting Brian who is not only in charge of the course’s caddy’s, but also one heck of a location scout! Seriously… he gets a lot of credit for the formal pics.
Moving on. The reception details were personal, well thought out, and stunning. We loved the hand written chalk board name tags that sat on wine corks. Another thing that stood out for us was when Mike’ cousin April sang the mother/son dance song. Rumor has it that she was an American Idol contestant.
Finally, how can we possibly forget to mention the ever so talented Sarah of A Polished Plan? She did a fantastic job of bringing the wedding together and keeping everything organized. So without further a do, let’s get to the images. Congratulations Christine and Mike!!
