Last week we flew out to Washington State for Anna and Diego’s Engagement Session. Marcie and Anna were co-workers in the past and have been in touch ever since, due to their love for art and kitties. Well… kitties more than art really.
About 45 minutes north of Seattle is Mount Vernon, which is home to an annual tulip festival. As you drive through the town you pass field after field of tulips and daffodils that appear to span all the way to the mountains on the horizon. One word, maul. The tulip festival has a special meaning for this couple. It’s where their journey began, and where Diego purchased hundreds of tulips to surprise Anna before his proposal. Guys, pay attention.
We had such a great time with the two of them during our short stay. From wine tastings, to exploring Seattle, to playing late night Kinect, we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. If you would like to learn more about the tulip festival, check out RoozenGaarde’s website at www.tulips.com. Also, Anna’s hairpiece was created by Marcie’s newest venture – www.flauntmyfeathers.com (coming soon).
Congratulations Anna & Diego! We can’t wait for the wedding in Buffalo. It’s going to be a blast (with or without 10 feet of snow).
